Visitors from the UK (73,157) were the most numerous visiting Malaga during 2015 followed by France (54,870) and Germany (46,857).
In the domestic market, most visitors came from Madrid (39,080), Andalucía (27,440) and Catalonia (16,396).
Tourism information offices in Malaga and mobile information points or port terminals were attended last year by some 700,000 people. The 525,486 people who visited the tourist information offices represent an increase of 9.5 percent over the same period in 2014. In addition, 170,368 tourists were attended to at the tourist information points at port terminals and 3,985 people were attended to at mobile information points installed at conferences and other events.
